Yes, I am specialized in Rehabilitation and Vocational counselling, however my degree is also in general counselling and mental health, and I have counselled people from all backgrounds, challenges and disabilities and the label mainly comes from the titles of the degrees that you study.
The process is simple, you can either call or email and we can make an appointment :) There are a variety of methods whether you would like to have your appointment face to face, or by phone and video conference.
Yes, and even better because it is not through Medicare nothing is shared with the government records with the exception of course of when there is a high probability of potential harm to either the patient or others around them.
It is advisable to join the video conference 15 minutes before the appointment, once you have joined the meeting you can go away from the computer and return at the time - it gives you time to sort out issues, same with the phone connection - check how the connection is and find a good spot before the appointment, any issues text before the appointment and we can change to either phone or video.
If the appointment is face-to-face the payment can be taken after the appointment, telehealth and video conference shall be made at the time of booking.
NDIS clients are accepted, my business is unregistered with NDIS at the moment because it is small and the costs are high, for the registration process, but if you or your family have a self-managed plan that is great, I meet the level required to provide Rehabilitation counselling services.
